Welcome Visitors – We are blessed to have you join us for Divine Service today. We kindly request you sign our Guest Book at the back of the church and/or fill out a Welcome Card and place it in the offering plate. Thank You.

Bowling Party - Trojan Lanes. We start bowling promptly at 3:00 today. Come earlier if you need shoes and balls. We have 4 lanes reserved. Concessions available – no extra-large pizzas, can get smaller pizzas. We will bowl for one hour. See you there!

No Host Lunch – Tuesday, the 21st at Noon at 4B’s. Sign up list is in the back.

Harvest Party – Saturday, the 25th – All ages are welcome! The fun starts at 5:30 with a meal of pizza, salad, dessert, and drink. Please sign up in the back if eating a meal. If you are eating later, you may or may not find any leftovers. If you know of anyone who wants to eat but aren’t in church today or next week, you need to sign them up or have them call me. There will be a variety of games (with prizes), coloring and costume contests. Costumes – nothing gross or scary. We’ll make Thanksgiving and Christmas cards for the Shut-ins. s/Ms. Freda

From Pastor: October 3o, 2025 is officially “Plan a Great Funeral Day.” To honor that particular day we will hold a funeral planning seminar on Thursday, October 30th, beginning at 6 p.m. Dinner will be provided. We will cover our theological understanding of life and death. We will discuss various difficulties that have arisen with end-of-life issues. We will also talk about your funeral. I will have books available that will guide some of our thinking and planning. In order to have enough, please sign up at the entrance of the church. I hope to see you all there.

Birthday Box – If you have an October birthday, you are encouraged to thank God for your life by donating $.10 or more for each year of life you’ve been given. Box is in the back – look for the red bow. No checks please. Cash only. Thanks!

Summer is Gone – Fall is Here: It’s a good time to curl up by the fire or under a blanket and read a good book. Our library has books for kids, teens, young adults, and older folks. Also tapes, games, and movies. Don’t need a library card and no late fee. Open when someone is here. Books on the Reformation and Martin Luther. You’ll find something for ages 0 and up on the card table in the back of the church. You’ll find the table in the basement when we have the Harvest Party.

Young Investor Club – Lutheran Church Extension Fund has a new member. Welcome, Everly Thomas. We now have eight children participating. 

Help Urgently Needed: The Altar Guild is in urgent need of new members. We are currently operating with a total of 7 ladies to cover the entire year. Won’t you please consider serving in this rewarding capacity? All new members will be fully trained by an experienced Altar Guild member. This invitation is open to both men and women members of the congregation. If you are interested or would like more information, please speak with Pastor Thomas or Julie Foote.
